Phase 1 Burn Ban

The Kitsap County Fire Marshal announces implementation of a Stage 1 ban on outdoor burning effective 8:00 a.m. on Friday August 19th throughout unincorporated Kitsap County.

(Port Orchard, WA) – Kitsap County Fire Marshal David Lynam has lifted the burning ban that went in effect August 19. “A recent return to a fall-like weather pattern with rain and higher moisture levels predicted allows us to lift the burn ban,” said Lynam.
