DESCRIPTION:This course is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be
  safe when they are home alone\, watching younger siblings\, or babysitting
 . In this course\, students learn to practice safety skills\, handle emerge
 ncies\, care for children\, and treat illnesses or injuries. This class inc
 ludes CPR training (No Certification). Additionally\, students develop busi
 ness skills such as screening jobs\, setting wages\, and working with emplo
 yers.\n\nPersonal safety and how to stay calm in unexpected situations\nChi
 ld care basics and age-appropriate behavior management\nHow to screen and a
 ccept safe job requests\nWhat to do in common household emergencies\nBasic
