SUMMARY:Baby Basics
DESCRIPTION:This 2-hour Basics class provides essential education for new a
 nd expecting parents and caregivers on key infant safety topics. Participan
 ts will learn the fundamentals of infant CPR* and infant choking relief\, a
 long with best practices for safe sleeping habits to help reduce the risk o
 f sleep-related injuries. The class also covers prenatal vehicle safety\, i
 ncluding important considerations for traveling safely during pregnancy\, a
 s well as child passenger safety\, with guidance on proper car seat selecti
 on\, installation\, and use to help keep infants and young children protect
 ed on the road. *Please note: Infant CPR instruction is for educational pur
 poses and does not include CPR certification.\nFollowing the Basics class\,
  participants will return the following Friday for a 30-minute one-on-one c
 ar seat check with a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST).
