Join South Kitsap Fire & Rescue in learning CPR, first aid, STOP THE BLEED, choking rescue, and many more lifesaving skills. 

Adult CPR/AED. First Aid Classes:

Topic Taught:

• Basic First Aid
• Bleeding Control. (STOP THE BLEED®)
• Splinting
• Choking Rescue
• Adult CPR and AED usage
• Administration of Narcan
• Skills practice with all topics. 

-Adult CPR/AED. First Aid Classes:

Classes are subject to availability of an instructor and there will need to be a minimum of 6 people signed up for the CPR/AED First Aid class or the class will be canceled or postponed. Classes are also limited to 12 people. Classes will be a 6:1 ratio of students to instructor.

About the class.

• Class will be about 3.5-4 hours long
• Class is $50:00 per person (due two days before class)
• First aid portion is online and must be completed before class date.
• This provides CPR/AED first aid and more.
• Students will receive a certificate card for CPR/AED and first aid and a certificate for STOP THE BLEED® upon completion.  Student must participate in the hands-on activities to receive the certificates. 

This class is not Basic Life Support (BLS) or Health Care Provider (HCP) CPR.

South Kitsap Fire and Rescue will be providing Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR every quarter in 2026. Keep watch for added class schedules.

Friday January 9th, 9:00- 12:30pm- FULL (SKFR CPR/AED Basic First Aid- OSHA Compliant by Red Cross and AHA certified instructors)

Friday March 6th, 9:00-12:30pm (Class is now American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR)

Friday May 15th, 9:00-12:30pm (Class is now American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR)

Cancellations: If you need to cancel, please call our main office at (360)-871-2411 so we can open up a spot for someone else.
