Safe Sitter

Safe Sitter is designed to prepare students ages 11-14 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting.  The instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises.  Students even have the opportunity to use manikins while practice rescue skills like choking rescue and CPR!

• Length: 2-day course for residents of South Kitsap Fire and Rescue’s jurisdiction.
• Cost: $45 per student.
• Class limited to 12 students.
• Classes start at 9:00 am each day.
• Classes end at 1:00 pm. On the last day of class we ask that parents arrive 15 minutes early for the graduation ceremony.
• If we get any cancellations by noon on the Wednesday before the upcoming class, we will begin to notify students on the waitlist.
• Priority registration is available for South Kitsap Fire and Rescue residents.  If space allows, out-of-area students may be added one weeks prior.
