South Kitsap Fire District operates 11 fire stations, with Station 8 serving as the Administration and Business Office. Stations are designated as either career or volunteer. Volunteer stations are intermediately staffed by members by the South Kitsap Fire and Rescue Volunteer Association, while career stations are staffed 24/7 by career personnel firefighters.
